Fish

We've been learning about the six animal classifications the past few weeks. I feel like I did a much better job teaching this last year; my kids could recite the characteristics of each classification. This group is having a much better time learning about the animals, but their memory isn't as good as last year's group.

We learned about Fish last week. We read a science story about fish and were discussing where fish live and how fish travel. One of my brightest students came up with this question:

"What if a fish lived in a pond? And there were three ways out of the pond? One is to the river, one is to the ocean, and one is to the sea. Which way would the fish go?"

What an AWESOME question.
